I have tried to "refresh" the account by unchecking/checked on "Notes" on Mac System Preferences & Internet Accounts...but my problem persists.

My response: I am using upgraded iCloud notes for both my iPad and iPhone devices both running on iOS 10.0.2 and my most current notes content mirror that of the web-based iCloud.
Question: So how then do i go about pulling/syncing these content onto my Macbook Notes (version 3.3, 2011-2014) which runs on Mac System Version: OS X 10.10.5 (14F1912)?
You can't unless you update your Mac to macOS 10.11 El Capitan or later (at the moment we have Sierra 10.12)
Sounds like I have to settle with this (Upgraded) Notes problem unless I update to 10.11 El Capitan or Sierra 10.12!!!!
I shouldn't have opted for Notes Upgrade!

That's correct.
If your Mac hardware is capable, you should update.
Note: The update also includes security & bug fixes.
Alright ckuan, i am sold 🙂 and will try if my issue can go away after the upgrade to Sierra 10.12.
For Mac hardware, i suppose you are referring to at least 5GB hardest space? My Mac Air was post 2011 and i suppose the other hardwares are impossible with Sierra 🙂 wish me luck!
